Abstract
This work was focused in the study of the oxide phases Fe(Co or Ni)-Mo as precursors of sulfides and nitrides phases supported on HMS. The synthetic method allowed to obtain the bimetallic phases with high specific areas and spherical morphologies: Fe2(MoO4)3, CoMoO4 and Ni2MoOx, that were transformed at Co3Mo3N, Ni3Mo3N and Fe3Mo3N. The catalytic activities shown, independently of type of pre-treatment, were superior to those of two commercial catalysts, which suggest that these materials could be a good alternative for this type of reaction. Likewise, an in situ activation treatment of the nitrides allowed obtaining a significant increase of the catalytic activity.
