This research group seeks to promote more sustainable practices by exploring alternatives to conventional economic models through the study of alternative, social, and emerging economies. Its research encompasses areas such as social innovation, the collaborative economy, the circular economy, corporate social responsibility, the economy for the common good, social entrepreneurship, feminist economics, family farming, and fair trade.
The group aims to develop innovative, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches to address socio-economic and environmental challenges by generating knowledge and solutions that contribute to sustainable development and social transformation.
